Please consider donating to Artstra on southwest Washington’s day of giving, Give More 24! on September 23, 2021. The mission of our all-volunteer organization is to elevate the arts, build greater arts awareness, reward creative excellence, and expand arts accessibility.
Your generous donation will help fund Artstra’s ongoing activities and programs:
Clark County Open Studios Tour — when each fall local artists open their studio doors to the public to share how, why, and where their art is created.
Poetry Moves — a collaborative effort that features the words of local poets on C-Tran buses, offering moments of delight, inspiration, or contemplation to thousands of riders each year.
Creative Relief Clark County — offering art supplies, project ideas, and instruction to communities with limited access to the tools of creativity.
Arts Alive! — a collaboration with Clark County Arts Commission and Columbia Arts Network, an arts info fair designed to reconnect local arts organizations with the public, inaugurated September 18, 2021 at the Public Service Center Plaza.
Grants Program — providing small grants to individual artists (in any discipline: music, dance, visual art, writing, etc.) and to other nonprofit arts groups to complete or launch a project.
Arts Advocacy — in which we stand up for the interests of artists and their audiences with and understanding that the arts are vital to our culture and our community.
Year after year, Artstra’s programs demonstrate the power of art in our lives — to heal us, connect us, transform us, and to fuel the economy. We celebrate the vision and creativity of not just artists in all disciplines — but people. Art is inclusive and connects all of us on a local, national, and global level. We believe art matters greatly to the human spirit. It is a need that when met enhances our quality of life.
Please consider contributing to Artstra so that we can continue the work we have started.
