During this challenging time. With students home from school, you may be looking for ideas to engage kids with creative and educational activities. Artstra invites K-12 students in Clark County to submit a poems for the Poetry Moves program that places poetry on C-Tran buses for the 6-month season beginning this July. Discovering and sharing the power of words through the literary arts can begin at an early age and lead to a lifelong enrichment of our creative spirit. Submitting a poem is easy with our online submission form and guidelines. The deadline for submittals is May 31.

Staying at home? Write a poem.
Rules: Student must be a K-12 student currently enrolled in a public, private, or home school in Clark County, Washington. You may submit a maximum of two poems, each of which must not exceed seven lines (50 characters per line maximum) and is student’s own original work. More details and online application here.
