I have been in love with glass from a very early age. Taking stained glass as an elective in high school began a lifelong love of the art of glass. My love of color is accentuated by the colors in art glass. It provides me with an array of colors, translucent and opaque, solid, and iridized, dichroic and streaky. Creative elements in glass like stringers, buttons, ribbons, inclusions from Croatia and hot glass heated and pulled through hot kilns – these all provide me with inspirations to create organic designs fun and abstract from glass. My 1200 sft studio situated in the foothills of Washougal, WA are home to my workshop, studio, gallery, and quiet space for me to create and help others create with glass.
