I am a multi-disciplinary artist focused on ceramics, painting, and photography. Currently, I am interested in exploring ways to integrate these different mediums together to create a cohesive visual dialogue. I have spent most of my life here in Vancouver, WA and recently earned a BFA from Portland State University. Throughout my artistic practice, I have continually been drawn to the depth and intricacies of people’s life stories and strive to reflect and honor their personal stories through my art. Within my work, I seek to create art that is personal to me yet communicates the importance of understanding and appreciating the beauty and uniqueness of individuals within a relational context. As a wife and mother of four children, I often draw inspiration from my own personal life journey including ideas of connection, memory, nostalgia, racial and cultural diversity, maternal relationships, and interior/domestic spaces.
