I’m an illustrator and ceramic artist, owner, and designer at Amblewood Studio. My ceramic work begins by using a slab roller to create large slabs of stoneware clay. I often add texture to the slab before I hand-build each unique piece. My love for watercolor and illustration is often reflected in my clay pieces with hand-painted images or sgraffito carvings. When I paint with watercolor, I like to keep my subjects fresh by capturing something I love or painting from life. It is my hope that you find wonder, joy, and a bit of my love for the Pacific Northwest in my work.
